Fasting has been practiced for centuries for various reasons, including religious and spiritual purposes. But in recent years, it has gained popularity as a health and wellness strategy. There are different types of fasting, including intermittent fasting (IF), which involves cycling between periods of eating and fasting, and water fasting, which restricts all food and calories for a set period.
